Accidently killed Charla (merchant on the beach)

My wife was playing my character and killed Charla.
Am I screwed and should I restart from a older point?
I did not know about it right away until she happened to mention it to me!
so restarting will put me back a ways....but willing to if needed.

There will be a certain npc connected to her story, but i dont think it's too gamebreaking

It doesn't matter too much if Charla is gone. It's not like she sells unique items that are better than what other merchants sell.

That is to say, you can get equally on par stuff to what she sells at other merchants.
