Got the quest from going into the cave, can I still get the remote this way? Went back to Arhu but just the manual is there and he has no talk options for the quest. I found a pic that looks like the remote is in the cave on the ground, but i cant find it.

Arhu should have the remote in his inventory (can be pickpocketed if you have someone skilled enough). AFAIK, though, you should be able to ask about the robot after getting the quest by entering the cave and talking to the guy near the start. Did you go through all the speech options?

There are some levers in the cave, which the screenshot may have been indicating.

No remote in Arhu inventory, Talked to Victor in the cave, but no mention of remote, just begged me to help him, saw the 2 levers pulled them both but nothing happened, seems like if u just stumble across this quest like i did, instead of getting from fab 5, no remote

There are 3 levers. If you search you should find a few discussions with suggestions for that fight.

OK I figured out what the levers do, but I ask again is there a way to get the controller if you didn't get the quest from the Fab five?

I did not get the Quest from the Fab Five, since I refused joining them, after I meet their recrutes in the Cave and got that Quest, I could talk with Arhu about it, he handing me the Remote and telling me to search for the Manual in his Room, which is laying there somewhere in Plain sight.

yes I did exactly the same thing except he wouldn't talk to me, the manual was in his room but there was no conversation option about the spark master 5000. maybe I bugged the quest by attempting to kill it before talking to Arhu, The three Fab five guys that were there are dead now

Did you go trough all Dialogue Options, iirc it is in a Subtree of them.
Else maybe for some reason you already have it?
IF thats the CAse you should find it in the Misc Tab of the Inventory, it's a LimeGreen Item.

It's extremely unreliable anyway. After a few attempts failing to have much success with it, I gave up and just defeated the bugger in a straight fight.

Yea from what I heard, it was way more reliable in the Classic Version, but with all the nice Enhancements, there had to be some dirt :P

worked great for me, discharged him every turn. I just hot keyed it on my scoundrel and since she had the highest initiative she went first every turn to discharge him
