Luculla is even less linear than Cyseal.
The only halfway linear area is Phantom Forest.
If you've done Hiberheim and the Luculla Mines, you should actually be able to do the spiders.
My guess would be that you're underleveled.
Slow immunity is very helpful in the desert.
Having gear with slow immunity is best way to get it.
The talent Weatherproof requires 5 in Geomancer. Hardly anyone will have a party of 4, all with 15 points invested into Geomancer at level 14/15/16. There's maybe one level 5 Geomancer in a typical party.
(There's a mod that allows taking Weatherproof with Geomancer 1 but that's irrelevant here because using the mod would require a restart.)
Another way that makes the spiders easy - but is out-of-question too - is a full Zombie party. At least for the poison spitters ;-)

The spiders are really hard... i've cleared everything else on the map before i dealed with them. I've created fire areas they always had to walk through, focused all power on one spider and teleported the other spiders away on the beginning of the fire area.
You can also try to cozen just one of it with a teleport attack...
I also just cleared the "main road" (maybe you can sneak) and dealed with the other spiders and the queen later after i've got more experience.
Sorry but I don't understand, what do you need help with? You're saying you killed the spiders already.
Yeah, that's right... i'm ready to finish the game (again), but i've missed an achievement in Luculla forest and searching for a savegame, because i don't want to play again just because of a dialog scene.

I've made it with no problems easy to Phantom Forest and Sacred Stone! I also (easy) defeated with your party (with only 3 people left!) Jareth, Balberith (against you) and 4 summoned enemys from Jareth without leveling up your party.
After i've defeated them the achievement doesn't pop up and i realized i have to be "independent" with your party, so i also had to do that first. But finally i did it. :)
So, everything i've trying to say is that you really can play with that party and step forward! Just leave the spider eggs and don't wait till they pop! Keep running away and do them later... also the queen.
I really recommend to sell all the weapons, staffs and armor in your inventory! You really don't need to change it in a fight. Just equip your strongest weapon, rings and armor and everthing will be fine.
I will finish the game next weekend on tactican difficulty + honour mode.
