And I highly recommend to invest in it - 1 point invested plus 2 points by gear make a lot of stuff in the game much, much easier. Especially gathering loot, specific locations like the trap house or lava traps (there is already one near the trap house). I would leave any game out of sheer (mental) exhaustion without telekinesis.
If you go into the trap house without telekinesis, there is only one solution - substitute by teleport (figure it out on your own, please). If you have neither, leave the scene and come back later,
