Stuck ! Saved right before Watchful Eye spotted me -- please help
Im in the swamp part of the phantom forest, trying to clear it of those Watchful Eyes that one shot you. And I saved (you know like you're supposed to do, every five seconds). And as i was saving, one of the Watchful Eyes crept up and saw me, and proceeded to go into Combat mode and one shot kill my party. Unfortunately neither of my main characters have resist death, so my game Game Overs before i get a chance to way point out.

I've tried several times, reloading -- but yeah the moment i spawn, i go straight into combat mode. and when the Watchful eye detonates (and my Madara resists death) I go out of combat mode and teleport out. However, thats useless since my two characters are dead. Game over.

I'm stuck. Well and truly stuck. I could reload another save but that takes me back twenty hours and well. No.

I'm wondering if anyone has a solution to this, or point me in a direction of an invincibility or god mode cheat. Or something that maybe allows me to leave the combat area before the Watchful Eye can get me -- anything really. please.

Hi, yeah good idea. So ... The last autosave was three game hours ago (which means I have to go through liberating hunters edge, the whole annoying death temple and cassandra's boss battle again) ;;; but i guess if i don't have a choice i don't have a choice. Still holding out hope for this save file though hah

How much time do you have from the second you respawn to the time you get blown up?

If you are quick-saving, there are multiples (1, 2, etc). You shouldn't be saving all the time, but quicksaving just for this reason; in case you messed up you can go back multiple quick-saves and not lose a lot of play time.

Maybe you could manually start combat mode (default tab key) when you load the save and see if starting combat from marginallly further away allows someone to survive to use flee / pyramid.

There is a CheatEngine[cheatengine.org] table that includes a god mode.
For the install you would either need to uncheck some extra 'offers', or install it while offline. There is also a no-install rar file[cheatengine.org] on the downloads page. If you don't already have an archive manager that can handle rar files, try the freeware 7-Zip[7-zip.org].

Here is a CheatEngine table[www.dropbox.com] I downloaded from this topic[forum.cheatengine.org] (broken link) when it was still available. It wasn't updated for the latest version of the game, but works for what I've tried with it (adjusting abilities and talents).

Start the game and load an older save, open the table (I just extracted it into the CheatEngine install folder), click the 'Select a process to open' button at the top left (highlighted with a flashing box cycling between red and green), select EoCApp.exe (preceded by a hex number, ie 00001FD0-EoCApp.exe) and click the Open button and then Yes. In the bottom list, select the unlimited HP box, then load the most recent save.

If you can not select the boxes at the bottom in CheatEngine, exit the program and the game and start over. That happened to me a couple times. There may be an easier fix, but I haven't used CheatEngine enough to bother trying anything else.
