Hidden high value treasure - perception 14 (plus Light Stepper?) needed

There is a buried treasure I have not seen mentioned in guides:

At a corner of Balberiths hideout in Phantom Forest there is a buried treasure chest, which besides quality loot containes a rare "Book of Mortal Techniques".

Easy to miss, I found it just out of the habit to augement my scout by "Burn My Eyes". Scout ran right over it without detection at perception level 12 (plus "Light Stepper" talent) and found it only after the boost to perception level 14.

Sneaky from the developers :-).

I can confirm that this chest exists, I get it in every playthrough since I first found it ;-)

Yeah, that´s the benefit of knowing where it is. You can even use the shovel blindly in this case.

I just found it funny that it is not mentioned in all of the guides I read - seems a lot of people missed it.
