SOLVED: Distill My Heart: Mill is inactive

Hi there!

I have the sack of barley, trying to use the mill, but nothing happens, the crafting window simply does not appear. I do not get any error messages. My crafting is lvl5 is that is important...?

Are there any other Mills in the game where I can grind my barley perhaps?

It should work on the mill near the entrance of the village...

I've checked every thing on google for a solution to this. The grinder in the mill in Hunter's Edge does not react when clicked, and it will not let me drag the bag of barley to it. I found the book and read it, talked to the bartender repeatedly. Tried it with a hero with crafting. Tried to drag-combine it from multiple positions. What the hell? Quest log is just stuck on "you found a book on how to make whiskey"

@ubuntufoo For some reason the mill works differently to everything else in the game that allows you to craft. Instead of clicking on it, you just open your inventory when stood next to it and drag the sack of barley onto the mill, you should get a yellow icon, let go and the craft window opens. Click combine.

pretty sure it works the same as other things to craft with. not sure whats up with your game, but I got the combine menu normally.
