Novice Skills
Oath of Desecration: It's a 40% boost to damage for 3 turns.
Malediction: Curse/Weaken Opponents
Vampiric Touch: Heal you, hurt them.
Summon Undead Warrior: because summoning allies is awesome
Adept Skills
Destroy Summon. Really powerful late-game. Also great in Honor mode for destroying avatars before they teleport you into lava.
Drain Willpower. Makes Rapture stick 100%
Rapture: Charms enemies for 2 turns. So awesome.
Summon Armoured Undead Decapitator. Great summon; powerful. Can knockdown enemies and taunt. Best summon in the game; way better (and tougher) than elementals.
Masters
Inulnerable. For 2 turns nothing can hurt you. Need an INT of 13 to ensure this has a 100% chance of success. Pretty easy to get INT 13 even on a Knight with some points and gear. All my party members take this. Saved my bacon so many times.
Soulsap: Great against boss mobs. I recommend at least one party member have this.
Death Punch: high crushing damage. Most things in the game are weak to crush, but there is very little in the way of actual crushing weapons. It's not as awesome as Flurry or Dagger's Drawn, but still pretty good.
Drain always hits for me at 13 INT. It's -5 To WILL, which basically ensures Rapture always sticks.
I always have a character (usually a rogue type) that has Loremaster skill. At Loremaster 3 you can see the Body and Willpower saves of your enemies. If there's a 0, I'll target that person with Rapture. But most of the time they at least have a 1, and scores of 2-3 are common. With a rogue character with SPD daggers, I have more than enough AP to cast both Drain Willpower and Rapture on the same turn (and usually some left over for something like Invis or Oath). Hits every time. Charming enemies is the bomb.
All my characters end up with INT 13 by end-game. It's not that difficult; there's a ton of INT based gear.
There are certain minimums a character needs. INT is one of the easier ones to reach. Given the versatility and power of the skills, I find the investment well worth it.
