Immaculates: did I mess up?
I arrived in Silverglean and explored it thoroughly, while at the same time exploring the surroundings (steering away from enemies too high in level). Nonetheless, I may have a problem:

I was able to find and connect with the White Witch WITHOUT joining the Immaculate cult, because I won an argument with the champion guarding the way (quite easily I'd say, thanks to a +4 Intimidation :D ).

Now the question is: should I still join the cult? or I can still finish the quests and get the same exp without doing so?

I did something sort of similar. After arriving in Silverglen, I didn't immediately join the cult, but explored instead. After getting to the town where the female leader of the Immaculates is (I forget her name, the one that bosses the goblins around), I wiped all the Immaculates out. This game does a good job of giving you alternate ways to finish your playthrough. You can literally kill major characters and npcs, and still get through the game. So, while I don't know the consequences of your specific choices, the game is made so that you can always find a way forward through the story. It's almost impossible to "screw up" the game. Just have fun with it!

I think I joined them after the White Witch as well. Anyway, it's worthwhile to do the associated quests, but maybe you can do them without joining?

thanks for all the answers :D it would be funny to see what happens next time I have the chance to meet them. Maybe I'll report back if I am successful
