Zombie Troll Fight
I am not sure if it was supposed to happen, but looks a little odd to me. When I first had encountered the zombie troll, I came from the burning area with fire everywhere, so didn't have the book to understanding the troll's language. Also, there was a poison slime with the troll, called "long dead troll friend's", something like that, I don't remember for sure.

At the end we started the fight and the troll action came first, followed by all my characters. Then it was the turn of the poison slime: he went to the back of the troll and attacked, inta-killing him. Its damage was around 55% of the troll's life, what remained after my turn.
The battle had ended and I could not interact with the slime anymore. After leaving the area and coming back later, the slime was not there.

Is this how the battle supposed to happen? Because I tried to find something about it and didn't find anything.

No mods installed. Only the game by itself

Yeah there are still bugs in the game sometimes..I tried google searching your issue and couldn't find anything that really mattered. I've ran into a couple that required reloads, then there are the fights that...there's no way possible on your first attempt you could win...like the Rex fight. lol. That's just bad game design.

This game is a bit overrated honestly - I mean when you look at the global achievements barely anyone has even finished half the game. So it makes all the positive reviews look...disingenious in retrospective view.

I'm not sure if it can apply to your circumstance, but something similar happened to me in the next chapter of the game (which I won't spoil): during an important fight, the enemy surprisingly attacked his own -very large- buddy, leaving it half dead.
My guess, is that the hitbox of the large enemy was so big that in the cramped space the AI of the game couldn't factor it in, and thus the computer was trying to attack my party but ended up damaging its own instead.

You may be right - I've definitely seen them try and use magic or long range through objects they can't hit through - so it's possible that's the case there too.

It makes sense. Probably was the same situation on both cases. Considering also the amount of life removed from the enemy after the attack.

Speaking with a friend that had finished the game, he said that sometimes very weird bugs just happen: as example, walking through the map and finding corpses of enemies that died inexplicably and which you were supposed to fight. So, I think the bug that happened with me applies to this "category".

Well, i was fighting that troll and i killed him the troll's friend did not attacked me, the fight ended and there was an exclamation in his head briefly, i think it may be related to some quest but it was not fully implemented on the game. I played the fight like 5 times (the exclamation did not appeared again), and one time i teleported the troll to his friends side AND INDEED THE SLIME ATTACK THE TROLL the slime attack ANYHTHING that is infront of him.

I cannot find anything related to this slime, but well, he dropped some loot when i killed him INSIDE the fight, and after the fight it seems like he won't drop loot if killed just some gold, i couldn't go to the fight mode no matter how many times i attacked him, he stays there, beeing killed dooing nothing.
