It depends. If you want smooth play, go no ai personality. If you want some fun conflicts set one up. If your characters have an AI personality, they will debate you sometimes on choices.

Example: You want to have peace with an enemy, (dialogue), but your partner has an merciless personality, so they want to kill the enemy. You will have to do Rock-Paper-Scissor to determine who gets their way.

Not all decision will require R-P-S, some are merely just stats determination like quiz just to give you some character trait points.

Try giving your secondary character a personality, that way you won't hear "I agree" all the time, then if you want, give no personality to your main character if you want to avoid some disagreement (switch character before talking).

No, you should not choose an AI personality. If you do, then you lose control of your character(s)' choices and also some of the traits that they will or will not get.

Therefore, it is always best to choose No AI Personality.

If you want to have "fun arguments," then simply select a different choice for each character when the dialogue over which you want to argue comes up. Contrary to what comment above says, No AI Personality does not result in automatic agreement between the characters. Rather, it simply lets you choose whether they will disagree, or not.

That just sounds sad...

it all depends. minmaxers'll want to control traits chars gain in convos (so no ai). roleplayers wont care at all for those benefits (so ai's ok). personally i'm happy i chose no ai so i could freely experience dos1's trait mechanics.
