Weird interaction with Tenebrium and Elemental enchantments
Currently my level 17 crafter with 5 crafting and 3 tenebrium get these values when enchanting say, a same level superior longbow
Any element: 18~32 elemental damage (depending on the essence)
Tenebrium: 32~63 Tenebrium damage

However, if you take the already Tenebrium-enchanted weapon, THEN enchant it with an elemental essence, it converts the Tenebrium damage values into the respective elemental damage without reducing it. So for example, if a fire essence is used on above Tenebrium-enchanted weapon, you get 32~63 Fire damage.

Seems like an odd unintended mechanic? idk, but it seems like you can use it to maximize enchantment damage.

Does anyone know if the tenebrium enchant damage increases with more skill in tenebrium? My crafter mule is doesn't have the points to +4 tenebrium yet so I haven't tested it.

Classic still had at least increased Damage with Tenebrium weapons for higher levels of Tenebrium but with the Enhanced Edition, Tenebrium has become a mere gating mechanic.


In vanilla EE, the crafted elemental damage boosts are 15% of base damage while the crafted Tenebrium boost is 30%, much higher.

What you described above seems like a bug and I suppose it's really unintended.
