So I'm still pretty new to this game. I came across the area with the stages and got a couple of quests. I went to the library and found the book. I talked to Cedric and he told me about Reginald. I went over and talked to Gallagher. This is where I made a mistake I think. I gave him the 100 gold thinking I was paying him to go help Cedric (I didn't read properly). I then talked to Reginald but he wasnt leaving so I figured I missed something. So I talked to Cedric again and intimidated him so he left so I was able to complete part of the quest to get the head off the stage. Now I'm trying to do the duo-act but Gallagher won't join me?? I tried booting a party member but it doesn't seem to work. I feel like this is a bug? I didn't save it unfortunately so I cant go back unless I lose like 3 hours of progress. Any ideas if this matters?

TL;DR Gallagher wont join me for the duo-act on stage because I payed him the 100 gold before intimidating him to go help Cedric??

maybe i'm missing something but why you need G for duo act? iirc i had my two main chars doing it.

You can do the duo at with your two main characters or yu can do the single act using the other book in the library with jokes in it.

and unless I'm reading this wrong...if you got the head already, then you no longer "need" to do the act on the stage.
the whole point of the performance is to distract all of the other guy's customers so you can go over there and grab the head without being seen

I have some kind of problem here. Not everyone from the other guy comes to my stage, only 4. Therefore i cant steal the damn head..

the other guy, has a guy in his audience that acts as a "shill". the "shill" yells out loud and proclaims how great the show is to attact more customers.

if you find that guy in the audience, you can "convince" him to work for you.

Femaiden is right, the whole point of this event is to distract the crowd so you can then steal the head. Just don't make the mistake of paying Gallagher 100 gold first before you intimidate him or he will no longer help you with your play and you will be out the 100 gold you gave him. it's much quicker to use smoke and just as effective :)
