Gems?

Do any of the gems except glass ruby do anything? Got 2 diamonds, a malachite, and a crystal, cant seem to combine them with anything

All gems, other than rubies, are for selling and fetch decent gold in the early part of the game.

Moonstones can be used on any mace weapon to add increased damage- they also can be ground into dust and used as a replacement for stardust in the creation of pixie dust.

Yea, I forgot that one, mainly because I consider it a stone and not a gem. My bad.
