It's a simple spell, but it has a lot more uses than you might think.

Most patches that refill have a circular vent in the middle. When you mouse over it you will see it highlight.
Because of those vents, I carry around every single Cooking Pot I find. Simply drop the pot on the vent and it blocks it from refilling.
It even works with lava spots that are generated from that type of vent because the metal Cooking Pot does not burn.
