What is going on? Game breaker.

So, games been going great. I got to hiberheim and saw this room with leandra in it, so I backed off to come back later. Did other stuff. Ended up coming back and stealing the blood stone using an invisibility potion. Then teleporting out. Went on to do more stuff. Then I came back...

They aren't attacking me, I tried just killing them, they won't die. Is my game ruined? can I continue?

You were supposed to talk to Leandra and she takes the stone then turns the others into demons to fight you. If you stole the stone you might trying using invisibility to put it back and see if that resets the quest.

Yeah, I used it. I'll try throwing an inert stone down I guess.

Well, I threw the inert stone down, nothing happened. I don't understand why they let you steal the stone if it causes this issue.

I certainly don't have the time to restart the game, my last save is before I had even finished Cyseal.

Anyone have any ideas? I mean, this seems game breaking.

There are other blood stones in the game. Hopefully you can use one of them.

Stone 7 (Blood)
Found in the hidden room at the end of Maradino’s Lab.

Stone 8 (Star or Blood)
Found at the beginning of the quest involving Mangoth. The type of stone depends on your choices during dialogue with Mangoth.

Stone 9 (Blood)
Found when you destroy the totem in the Goblin Village.

Stone 10 & 11 (Blood)
Both are hidden in the cellar of the Immaculate church in Silverglen (accessible after meeting Loic at the end of the Immaculate trial).

Stone 13 (Blood)
Found when you destroy the talking Iron Maiden in the Hiberheim prison.

Thanks, I'm not too familiar with the game, which one of these would be the quickest to get too just so I can try it out? I don't want to spend forever hunting down a blood stone only to have it not work.

It depends on where you are in the game. Since you stole the stone at the elemental forge I am guessing you are still in Hiberheim. Stone 13 would be the closest if you have not done the prison yet.

So, I broke into the church, grabbed the blood stones... Tried placing them, but nothings happening. I think my game is just over.

This kind of game needs a ton of different savegames and quick saves to avoid situations you described above.

I admit it's bad luck...
But as said above, in this kind of games, you MUST save regularly (and manually). And specially when you try to sneak/steal etc... because you're never sure which step you may trigger, or miss.

Yeah, I had a few save games running. quicksave constantly. Unfortunately I stole the blood stone far back enough that all the saves eventually where over writen.
