Is he bugged? I saved him from his cell and teliported him out and he's still talking like he's still trapped in there. Did anyone manage to successfully rescue him?

I've set him free in several playthrough. He talks about how good it is to get into the fresh air and then walks away. Are you freeing him before or after killing the guards?

After killing the gaurds. He was part of the battle rotation but couldn't attack because he was in the cell, so I fled and came back and he was still there, talked to him, and teliported him out but his dialogue didn't change. He wandered off and I can't find him now.

He just vanishes if you free him and no guards are around. If you free him with a guard nearby then he enters combat but vanishes afterwards.
