Spoiler - Program Problem - Unable to enter Eden Portal

I am unable to enter the Eden Portal using the death knight removal wand. Has something changed? Previously, I was able to finish the game and enter the Eden Portal using the death knight removal wand to attack the Eden Portal and remove the void aura surrounding the Eden portal. In my second attempt to finish the game with a different party, I substituted Jahan (companion wizard) for Edward (hired mercenary Knight) to battle the void dragon to determine the difference Jahan would make. However, after defeating Icara's sister and using the death knight removal wand, I can not lift the void aura from the Eden portal. Applying the Death knight spell on the Eden Portal, provides a message "invalid target". I have tried quick saving and reloading to try to repeat the use of death knight removal wand on the Eden Portal without success. I even had each party member try to use the Death Knight removal wand to attack the Eden Port without success. I have restarted the final battle against Leandra multiple times to arrive at the point where I can use the wand without success. I was unable to enter the Eden Portal using the wand using scenarios of both soul forged and not soul forged Icara- Leandra. I even tried using the choices of the Icara-Leandra being joining and not going the fight against the void dragon without change in portal entry outcome. Any suggestions what to do will be appreciated.

To be sure:

The wand provides you with the spell "Death Knight Removal," different than the spell "Death Knight's Bane." Use Death Knght Removal on the portal.

The icons for the 2 skills are similar, so double check the tooltip.

Thank you for your suggestions. When I cast the Death Knight Bane spell using the special skills section through clicking on the "Death Bane" icon on eden portal, I get the "invalid target " message and can not atack the portal. When I attack the portal equiped with the Death Bane wand, casting the Death Bane Knight removal spell, I get the message "invunerable". Still unable to enter the portal.

You need to use the Death Knght Removal skill on the portal, that gets added when a character equips Leandra's 'Death Knight Control Wand'. This will either have been dropped when Leandra died, or placed directly into a character's inventory if the Soul Forge ritual was used.

Thanks- Cast Death Knight Removal Spell on Portal, to successfully enter Eden. I was trying to cast Death Knight Bane on the portal and got the " Invalid target" message. I must have forgotten the difference between the two spells. Thank you again for your patience!
