Who knows similar games like this one?
I really enjoyed this game and i am looking for more stuff like this. I already played the new Tex Murphy Adventure. If you know other games like these, then please tell me! Doesnt have to be a steam game.

You are welcome! Well, I am playing PC games since 1989, back when the genre was very common.
I do have them all in my library. ;-)

Hey Rainer, ich nehme mal an Du bist Deutscher. Ich spiele seit ~1993. Ich hab auch die viel gesholtene Phase des Interactive Games miterlebt, wobei mir diese Spiele immer gefallen haben. The Deadalus Encounter, The 7th Guest und solche Sachen. Finde es schön das es wieder solche Spiele gibt. Ich wudere mich nur das Steam mir deine Vorschäge nicht unter "ähnliche Spiele" angeboten hat. Danke nochmal für deine Hinweise.

Gabriel Knight 2 was tremendous and Phantasmagoria was actually amazing compared to what I thought it would be like. Other notables are surprisingly Wing Commander 4. It's a flight combat game but the FMV movie and quality storyline puts it firmly in the category. I wasn't a huge flight sim fan but it's still one of my favourite movie games.

So glad these games are making a comeback and are being done the right way this time. This so far has been great. Only downside really was the actor playing Jenks. Just thought he was cringeworthy when most the rest of the cast were pretty believable.

The X Files Game is another good one, it was first one I saw to use 'live environments' with the water moving etc. Interestingly enough, contradiction is the first one I've seen to do it well. Actual HD quality backdrops.

Another one you need to grab is the rare TENDER LOVING CARE on DVD and DVD ROM that's brilliant too.

You are going to want to search the Internet for this one: Ripper. Not a Steam game.

Has Christopher Walken in it. Came out in '96'ish.

Maybe Harvester, as well. Here on Steam.

Again, search online for Sega CD and find a site that lists their library. Sega CD had massive FMV games. Sewer Shark and Night Trap being the biggest. I'm nearly positive they were also released for PC back then.

Another really good one that never gets mentioned is "Burn:Cycle" was short but ahead of its time with the great neo cyberpunk theme. The PC version is a ♥♥♥♥♥ to get running I managed to patch it tho if anyone wants the link. Think it's classed as abandonware now anyway. The PC version is hideous compared to the Philips CDI version though so grabbing a cheap CDI for $20 means u can play the better looking version. There may be a CDI emulator actually.

cool, i think i want to play it

Okay I've put burn cycle onto the torrent sites as like I say it is classed as abandonware and feel more people should have played this brilliant game that was sadly limited to CD-I owners and early PC CD ROM adopters. Enjoy.
