All about the sales, more than anything else I would think. It's not like the title is locked down to one console. If the Tales of Series (especially Symphonia, I guess), sell really well, Bandai Namco will have "more" of a reason to bring their games over to Steam/PC in some form.

Its likely to be the next older Tales game port to come if Symphonia proves profitable.

Granted, the Zestiria pre-order bonus numbers will auto-contribute to that.

I doubt DotNW will ever get ported, to be frank. It's reception was terrible and I don't think it would be profitable to bring it over.

that game sold horrible... besides i wouldn't even consider this a tales game besides the name... the whole monster training part sucked balls^^ but well, opinions differ ;)

I'm hoping it comes. Tenebrae made up for any other shortcomings to me when it comes to the storytelling. I liked the overall plot too even if its presentation is hilariously cheesy (even more so than the other Tales games I played).

It always amuses me when people praise the hilariously over the top "forced cool" 'Ratatosk mode' for an inaccurate description version of Emil. I love that the same voice actor does both though, and when people praise the over the top 'cool' voice while blasting the intentionally wimpy voice.

tales of games have a decent story at best (the problem is that they are far too predictable if you have played one title^^), but well, the charakters mostly make up for that. in DotNW the problem is that they take a charakter from ToS, and make him into an obvious fake enemy, and you know it instantly. furthermore you pretty much have only 3 charakters (i won't count those fanservice appearances from ToS, cause that are they: fanservice^^). so the story is extremely weak overall, but has 1 interesting charakter (at least).

the problem is that it doesn't end there. the one thing that is the reason why a game with a weak story can still be godd is good and fun gameplay that makes you want more. That's what makes the Tales Games so good! They have decent to good story, and a wonderfully crafted fighting system that makes you want to fight more and more, even the same enemys over and over. HOWEVER, DotNW misses that. they took the fighting system from ToS, and butchered it with Fanservice chars that have a fixed level, and are totally useless in combat, only gave it 2 actual fighting charakters, and stuffed in some weird pokémon knockoff monsters... in other words: they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up!

summing it up:
Story: bad with decent parts
Charakters: 1 Interesting sidekick, 2 useless protagonists
Re-Play Value: None!
Fighting System: BAD! Basicly ok, but butchered due to charakters
Music: Ok, but nothing outstanding; mostly copy&paste from ToS
Map: Copy&Paste from ToS, NO OPEN WORLD MAP!!!!
Overall GamePlay: OK, but WII controls suck :2015cookie:

And that is why DotNW Sucked balls. and seeing the sales numbers and overall disappointment from players of ToS, i pretty much think thats the reason why this game will most likely not be ported to pc (probably never, except they start porting every tales game and run into a shortage between releases^^)

TOS2 was the greatest game about 2 gay lovers trying to get back together I ever played. Emil and Richters gay relationship were so well written and by the time I finished it I Truly began to see that ' Courage was the magic that turned dreams into reality'

The steam store says the ps3 version of ToS gets ported whcih came with both games. Kinda feeling ripped off with only getting tos.

They were sold seperately digitally for people who only wanted one game instead of both though on ps3.You're not getting ripped of at all. Reread that description dude, you're getting the PS3 version of Tales of Symphonia, not the PS3 version of Tales of Symphonia Collection which is what the physical version with both games is called.

Its not Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, its being clear its only the original.

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles will probably be a bundle on Steam if the sequel comes.

it really does suck all Symphonia Characters are locked at level 50.

We want Tales of the World 1-3.
