You should be getting the Yato Mirror from the first one.
Then the Yasakani Jewel the second time
And the Kusanagi Blade the final fight.
There's also some EX Gems with each battle, which are also 100%.
Stealing is an entirely different matter:
First the enemy must have something TO steal. That's the only factor the enemy has in regards to your ability to steal.
Then if Colette has "Item Getter", Stealing rate is 100%
Otherwise, it's based off of her LCK-- and at 251, is also 100%. I
Item Thief/Rover must deal damage and cause stagger to the enemy for Stealing to work. If the attack is guarded, it will fail. No ifs ands or buts. So don't even bother keeping track of the times Colette trips into an enemy guard. (Tip: if you REALLY want to steal that, get Item Getter and then use Item Theif or Rover during a Unison attack. As long as your attacks don't push the enemy away from Colette, the arte will always stagger during a U. Attack)
Rover doesn't have any better stealing rates. It simply does more damage [x3.0] and steals 500 Gald alongside the item in a successful stealing attempt.
Check the enemy list though, it lists 2 items as dropped items. And according to guides those should be EX gem lvl 1 and EX gem lvl 2.
I also knew that the stealing move has to connect but thanks for clearing up the role of the luck stat.
So, you're saying the monster list will be filled out the 3rd time we beat him? Alright then, I'll trust you. But you better be right.
I've just beat him the 2nd time and I didn't get any drops. So, as long as what you say is true, he should 100 percent be dropping both items the next time? I hope.
