God I wish you didn't have to redo this ♥♥♥♥ every time you want to get Genis' ultimate weapon.
Heck, I've frequently noticed that the third-stage kids can move faster than is possible for you even while bloody zig-zagging. It's ridiculous!
Seriously - there has to be SOME sort of TRICK to it! Playing 'fair' simply doesn't WORK. As it is, it looks like the only possible way to win is to not ONLY luck out and get an advantageous position, but ALSO get lucky enough that EVERY OTHER KID ON THE FIELD gets obstructed somehow. And if you're THAT lucky, you're wasting it on an old JRPG when you should be playing the lottery...
A risky trick, but if you're in a situation where you obviously can't win Round 3 'honestly', it's worth taking a shot at it. Getting a few free steps can put you back in the game. 's what I did. SCREW doing this thing honestly - I stole something like six steps, and managed to win that way. And good riddance to this awful minigame!
