I'm pretty sure that's the right order, kind of got messed up when I was uploading them. This is in the House of Salvation right after Hakonesia Peak. That's the whole conversation, the last screenshot seems to imply it's some kind of word game where the next word has to begin with the last letter of the previous word, but then she says Luin and Lloyd follows up with Pill. I'm thoroughly confused by the entire exchange and I thought it was actually giving me weird bugged text boxes until the final one showed up, anyone have any ideas?

I guess its just a word game the gang plays (and yes everyone plays it depending on who your onscreen character is)

EDIT: Its a Japanese word game called Shiritori and it works the same with Japanese writing as it does English words (using the last kana of a Japanese word or the last letter of an English one) Read about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shiritori

On the Japanese version is based on the last syllable of a word or "kana." It is called "shiritori"

Edit: Looks like I was beaten to the explaination. Took me a while to post after reseraching my Japanese textbook.

Normally in Japanese Shiritori you automatically lose if the last word used ended in N since Japanese doesn't have words starting with N. Of course this rule doesn't apply to English Shiritori.

I wasn't sure what exactly they were going for with this either when I was playing the PS3 release. I guess it just doesn't work out as well with it translated. I'm guessing they probably translated it literally(maybe not, but I don't know the Japanese to check) which doesn't work as well in a localization for something like this.

Oh BTW, you should try playing it as Colette after she loses her voice

Ah, I should have figured it was a Japanese word game, thanks for the help. I tried switching my characters but they give the same responses as Lloyd. I've only released the fire and water seals, was on my way to Asgard before I found this and had to find out what it was about.

I'll have to remember that, maybe later in the game they'll have some different dialogue, I'll have to check.
