Remastered not for Steam?
I've seen lots of articles about it, and never once I saw it being announced for Steam, only consoles,
We are on it's release date and still 0 news about it comming to Steam.

Is it because they just weren't able to remasted a 2003 game with 60fps? lol

PD: for the love of God, remasted Tales of Graces F and put it on Steam already!!!

Why is there not a PC version of TALES OF SYMPHONIA REMASTERED? Will we see a PC release?
TALES OF SYMPHONIA is already available for purchase on PC via STEAM, which comes complete with all the in-game content found in TALES OF SYMPHONIA REMASTERED. Our goal was to bring this nostalgic RPG back on modern platforms, as it was only accessible on previous generation hardware like the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3, while also making quality-of-life changes that Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One owners can enjoy if it is their first time diving into this game.

PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S owners can also enjoy the game as it is also backwards compatible with those systems!
While Remastered is about the same as Steam version gameplay wise, there are small improvements:
- You can skip FMV cutscenes. (Technically, you can do this in Steam version by deleting the movie files).
- Improved Elemental Cargo controls (the ship in Tethe'alla for a small amount of time).
- All textures are AI upscaled. There are small adjustments to some textures (e.g. buttons in Kratos' outfit).
- Related Abilities in Tech menu.
- Remastered has additional localizations for Korean, Russian and Chinese.

Currently Remastered on Switch version has some issues with transparency and other effects. There seems to be some lag/slowdown as well. There are also 5-10 seconds load times depending on the system (where in PC, there are none).

Any issues that were in PS3/Steam versions of the game are still present in Remastered version as well (compass' needles don't spin when rotating the camera, some cutscenes are missing some dialog like the one with Remiel in the beginning and so on).

The Steam version holds up very well. Here is what the game looks like with TSFix on:

Neat, thanks for the information. I just got an email about Remastered Tales of Symphonia now being available and came here looking to see what was up. :47_thumb_up:

Bandai Namco has no plans to bring these updates to PC. (whether in the form of a patch, or new edition of the game)

I'm a simple man, I just want a 60fps patch.

Is TSFix still working? I just downloaded the SKIM64 when I run the program and selected Tales of Symphonia fixed, the messagee in the bottom just said "Game not installed"

If you're unable to select Tales of Symphonia "Fix" from SKIM's dropdown menu, then the game isn't installed in the same place where Steam is. For SKIM to detect Tales of Symphonia, you need to have the game installed at .\Steam\steamapps\common\Tales of Symphonia

This is because Valve changed the format for libraryfolders.vdf in 2020 according to Kaldaien.

If you wish to have Tales of Symphonia installed in a different location with TSFix on, then simply follow these steps:

Yeah... remaster
Poor Colette

steam version with mods to fix and enchance graphics is still vastly superior.

Tales of Symphonia: Actually Good Edition when?

I guess for that to happen, they'd have to somehow convince Night Dive Studios to help bring Symphonia to the Kex Engine.
