Remote Play Together

Tried to play this game with my friend in remote play, but screen is stuck on "please stand by". Only audio works. Every other game we played through remote play together worked so far, but this one doesn't for some reason. So I assume this game is at fault. Tried both windowed and full screen, nothing changed.
Does anyone have some solution to make it work?

i managed to get remote play to work but we were both controlling the same character, as a matter of fact im not sure how to get 2 player to control different characters IRL

We got Symphonia working, but I couldn't interact with anything as player 2, assuming I need a controller to do that.
Similar story with Tales of Berseria. I had control for the same character as the host, and the options menu wasn't recognizing the option of having a 2nd player. Optimistically assuming because I was on keyboard, so I suppose it might be time for me to obtain a controller, and hope it works afterwards.

I've been playing this with a friend with Remote Play Together. As far as I know, each additional player does need to use a controller, then you have to set the character in slot 2 to manual instead of auto for abilities, that will allow the player 2 to control them. Same with slots 3 and 4 for additional players.

Your original issue with only sound working sounds like you were using TSFix, which does not work with Remote Play Together. You will have to uninstall it to play with others.

If I'm not mistaken, in big pictures, when you open steam overlay, there's an option to allocate your controller to another slot, does this work with remote play ?

Remote play didn't work for me. Audio and screen share worked but 2nd player could only move the character and buttons A(K) and B(L) didn't work. How do I fix this? I had both 1st 2 characters on MANUAL not auto.

Try using Parsec. In my opinion, it's better than Steam Remote play.
