Is the devil's arm worth it?
As the title suggest I understand to get the devil's arm I would need to be around lv 70 just to acquire it. I believe that would put me around the end game. From other post on the internet it is a weak weapon until you get a certain amount of kills with it. To beat the game wouldn't I be just fine using the highest lvl bought weapons? Or is the stats on the devil's arm significant enough that I would want it for the end game? Thank you!

You don't need kills with the weapon. Its damage is calculated based on how many total kills the character using it has with all weapons across all playthroughs. It will most definitely be more powerful than end-game weapons for Lloyd as soon as you get it. Mileage may vary with other characters. Even without kills though, Raine's is actually her best weapon by default because it has the highest INT stat by a large margin (+50 vs. the Crystal Rod's measly +13. The way they did stats for spell-caster weapons in this game is really dumb).

It's a nice reward for beating Abyssion, which is one of the hardest bosses in the game—way harder than the final boss. If your goal is to just beat the game, it's probably not worth it. But the boss itself is fun if you like a challenge and the Devil's Arms are quite useful if you want to do the extra dungeon.

Ahh that changes my mind about it. I thought It would be weak from the start and something I would need to grind to make powerful. Thank you!
