Best place to play ToS? PC,GC.PS3 ?
As the title says what is the best place to play ToS? I bought the other day a bundle for ps3 with its sequal (it was cheap so why not) and decided to come to the internet fo find more about it.
But i cant seem to find the best version so to say. GC has better framerate and some bugs , ps3 has voices and artes and sidequest....pc is 40 fps...So can some more expirianced tales players give me some advice where i should play this game?

If you don't care about what they added in chronicles (https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/13430-changes-from-gc-version-to-ps3-version/) then definitely get the gamecube version if it's convenient for you.

However, if you do prefer chronicles, PS3 is probably your best bet. PC is just very convenient for a lot of people. Dispite what others may say, I still see people having black screen issues, controller issues, and late game achievements not unlocking sometimes.
So for me personally that's where PC falls short.

I personally haven't had any problems with the PC version, for what it's worth.

I've had no issues with the PC version, so if your computer can at least meet the minimum requirements then by all means go for it. If you have a GC, though, and can procure the game relatively cheaply then definitely go with that one.

PC and PS3 versions are both the same, 30 fps. The game plays smoothly, the frame rate is barely noticible.

The Gamecube version is 60 fps but it has it has lesser content. PC and PS3 has more content because they are remasters. Going just with PS3 is okay, PC is just more convenient for people.

there are some nice mods that equalize it out quite a bit. ;)

I've played on all 3 over the last 13 years, just got the PC not long ago and I am finally able to play this game the way I have wanted to for years, extremely hard, thanks to the ability to hack into the hex code. As I find the base game even with 1/2 exp and on mania difficulty too easy.
Plus you can play using a controller! (I can't imagine playing this on a keyboard)

EDIT: When I played it on the gamecube for the dozens of playthroughs, I found battles to be in semi slo-mo (about 20% slower) when I compared it to videos I saw on youtube, it always bugged me that I couldn't have a fluent battle speed like I was watching.

No mod is needed, I didn't encounter any issues while playing the game. But you can download this mod over here if you want because it "improves" the graphics by a little bit and it also improve some other technical aspects.

You may also want this, it increases the volume of the additional artes that weren't in the gamecube version, both party and bosses, so that you can actually hear them

Yeah there's a lot of slowdowns if you play the GC version on original hardware. Not sure if it's any better on Dolphin. I know a lot of challenge runners on Youtube switched to PS2 once that came out, which had more consistent (if slower) frame rate.
