Colosseum Group battles?

All the old GC era walkthroughs say that you unlock group battles after beating advanced singles for the first time. Does that mean with every character? Because I've beaten it with everyone except Genis, beaten Seles, and triggered the final cutscene in D-K, but I still don't have group battle available.

. . . yep. that was it. What a wonderfully simple solution. Funny how no guides mention the fact that there's a second receptionist and in general I don't really talk to NPCs in JRPGs because they are mostly useless with nothing interesting to say. Oh well. That's what I get I suppose.
