How to use Dedicated GPU instead of Intel 3000?
Hi,

Anyone know how I can force the game to use my Nvidia GPU at full res instead of the Intel 3000? I force it with the Graphics control panel but it doesn't use it in game. Graphics options still display the Intel 3000 and no option to change it.

Thanks

Turn off onboard video in your CMOS setup. Hold DELETE key or F10 during bootup (depends on system) to access your Boot menu.

There's no other, less intrusive way? No .ini file to fiddle around with?

using your graphic card driver is more than enough, no need to disable the integrated card, like the Nvidia control panel if you use an Nvidia card, idk about amd, gotta search for that

Turning hardware on an off is basic operations for a pc. Know the CMOS, it's your friend, not something to worry about. Some, not all, setups don't allow software overide as in controlling onboard video and have to be turned off (CMOS)to make the system run properly. Some systems run both at the same time but the user only hooks up the output of the aftermarket card. Most integrated cpus run their video on by default. In that case, if you only have one video-out then by default integrated video will be used.

Thanks everyone, I'll keep searching a bit and uninstall if I can't find something suitable for me. At least it was free.
