In Hell, can't find the exit?
My friends and I got to the second level of hell, but we can't find the exit anymore. It took a very long time to load relative to the other levels, and no enemies spawned at all. We're in the beta if that matters.

This is a known issue that should be fixed in our next update. You can workaround the problem by saving and exiting, and then relaunching the session, as this will re-generate the level. The problem is caused by Lava being considered non-pathable, and the entry point in hell levels is sometimes surrounded by Lava. Sorry for the trouble.

Just happened to my friend run we all had levitation invisibility and legendary weapons it was great run sad for it to end like this. We tried to save and exit but it just gave us the exact same map.

Same problem here, 2 player games, invisibility + levitation, lots of spells, we got stuck in a level without ends. Saving exiting and restarting 3 times didn't worked (we always had the same level)

Hi, sorry you're still encountering this problem.

We did deploy a fix earlier in the year and saw no more reports so thought we were golden! I've also managed to trigger this bug myself.

I have some thoughts on how to solve this, so if possible can you report the seed of the game in your log.txt or typing /seed (I think that's the command?) when this occurs.

In the interim have the server enable cheats in the settings menu and type the command /nextlevel to continue onwards with your game

Hello! I've just encountered this glitch myself and then found this thread going; I've tried typing /seed and it doesn't appear to be recognised. Also checked the log.txt and am unsure which part you want me to paste here( unless you want the whole thing, because it's a wall of text). I was hoping to avoid enabling the console as I am unsure if doing so will disable steam achievements. Please let me know how to proceed with the log.txt and I can certainly get that to you.

There's a line in log.txt that says "generated floor with X monsters, X items, etc" shouldn be near there. Appears every time you pass a level. Also try /mapseed then.

Feel free to host your log.txt on some website I can sort through it

I tried to change my seed multiple times and run the game again, but every time I change it, even tho the map is different and enemies are spawning there isn't an exit.

Any Idea how to change my save files so I can continue and won't have disabled achievements? thanks

easy fix is to change your current floor in the save files, it didn't disabled achievements

Hi m1, I appreciate you trying to help others out who experience this problem. I took a moment today to load up your map seed and I didn't run into the problem - I was able to find the exit a little to the northwest of the start. That said, there may be other settings that caused my seed to generate a different map than yours. We've put in quite a few failsafes to make sure this doesn't happen, and I haven't seen it in a long time. If I can find another way to reproduce it I will. Most people who complain about this more recently have spots that are still unexplored on their map, even if it's just a tile or two. I'm not accusing you of that! But magic mapping or the /maplevel cheat will both show the entire level and reveal for certain if the map has no exit if there is any doubt left at all.
