Update of Jison's Map Mod

I was very happy to find Jison's map, as Gary is great at many things, among them is not aesthetics :)

However I found it a bit faded and somewhat blurry, so I spent an hour with the image processor and batch processing in Photoshop to modify them a bit. I of course think it's an improvement, but that's because I made it, things like this are totally a matter of taste.

For the technically inclined, I compressed the levels a bit, reduced the saturation some after that compression, and then used sub-pixel size unsharp mask passes to make them a bit crisper.

I think some folks would like ot use it though, is anyone interested in packaging this up as a mod? Not sure I have time to figure out the process for that if I'm going to really dig into WITE this time in my limited spare time.

Examples below. Recommend you put them full size to see the difference, I'm not changing it radically but I think (again IMO) that it's a noticeable improvement.

I use a mod called A Rainyday in Russia. It tones down the brightness and I find it makes the map look great to my eyes.

Rainyday is another good mod for those that prefer that look. I prefer the greener look of Jison's mod. It's called "your mileage may vary" and why modding improves every game.

Anyone interested in an OKH-type map, something like this? Also I'm looking for info on how counters are modded, I've seen counter mods so I know it can be done but not seeing the graphics, which makes me think they're compiled into the .dat files.

The Jison mod variant is nice.

OKH is interesting and attractive, though I personally find it a bit busy.

Apologies but I cannot advise on mod tools however :(
