F2P Version too arcade

I like the idea of the game. But I played the webbased version and the way you move your troops in an instant back and forth feels super unrealistic. It is a fast paced cat and mouse game. This is not fitting the name and era of the game. It would benefit from a order delay a lot....

Experimenting with textures on the Steam version

This is work in progress. We've been experimenting with new textures to give the Steam 3D version of Lines of Battle a slightly more realistic look. The next steps would be to see how to make the elevations more distinct.

Needs more players

Autosearch for ranked is like 5 players when I join. From those I get a lot of 1200 new players who dont know how to play yet or worse drop after turn 2-3. Sometimes I get a much higher MMR player which is also not too much fun. In short, we need a lot more player for a healthy search. Maybe reduce the options that splits playerbase in autosearch?...

Units start standing?

I noticed unit info states standing for each unit even though it was moving and is planned to move. Is this is a bug? This is important for many units especially for CAV since I would like them to move in order to have a certain speed to charge faster without exhausting them. And how to read those movement stats? I got movement x to y and then totally different numbers for walk. I dont know how to read those numbers. Lastly, is there any downside to running for arty and skirmishers? Running only affects ...

Players leaving in ranked without penalty?

I just had an opponent that left the game in deployment phase because he didnt like the map. No penalty for him. So one could now just repeat that until he gets a good start. That needs patching.
