This game had so much potential, and then there it was, excessive cleavage. Have the developers even looked at the original movies/manga series? Major Kusanagi is a small built woman with natural proportions. Her bust doesn't explode out of everywhere. It's so sad that a game with such potential falls into the same "girls must have big ♥♥♥♥ falling out of their clothes" cliche. I will be giving this one a big pass.

Major is a full body cyborg, she can actually look like anything she wants, by simply switching a body (and has at least 2 of them). She doesn't seem to be ashamed of nudity either, as shown several times in the movies and the series (nor of having her body ripped to shreds regardless of clothing for that matter).

So yeah, that little of boobs showing is nothing compared to the real thing ;-).

I watched the full Ghost in the Shell series as well as several versions (subbed and dubbed) of the movies. In none of them does Kusanagi have a huge bust or hips. It is true she could have any body that she wants, it is also true that she has a similar main body throughout the series, one built on a small lean scale. This makes sense because she is very acrobatic, and huge bouncing breasts get in the way of acrobatics.

I am not talking solely about her body showing, I am talking about the way it is showing here, and the size profile which gives her oversized T&A, squeezed into inappropriate gear. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear to you. I have no problem with the sexuality of the series or the character, I have a problem with the art being inconsistent with the character throughout my experience of her.

As for the comment about her clothes and official outfit, you see her in several outfits in the movies and series, and although some of them are skimpy, the ones she wears when she goes on missions are often heavy armor in the style of a SWAT team or paramilitary group, which is completely appropriate.

I will not be replying to further commentary, as I seem to have unintentionally drawn out the trolls.
