If you press down+B you unleash an explosion of souls killing nearly every enemy on screen. Only bosses dont die instantly.
This explosion of souls is just possible with a full mana bar cuz' it needs all your mana.

Was this really necessary?
?

Sorry, wasn't directed at you, what I meant is that the game is easy already withouth this "Kill all non bosses" command...
RetroAngel Mar 24, 2016 @ 6:24pm
You think it is easy? I think it so hard...every time a miniboss appears they kill me because I always take a hit if I hit them and havent figured out how to beat them or evade a hit.
It is always the same...I go into meele fight and swing my sword then before I can dash back I take a hit. Dunno what to do. :(

I presume that you mean that projectiles CAN be blocked.

But you haven't told anyone what the button for Block actually is in your control list.

And shouldn't this control list be in the actual game???

The dashback thing is crap, everytime I use it I end up in some spikes. What I do is empty my mana bar with the RB thing and time my attacks to theirs so I can interrupt them, and everytime you attack them, wuss out like a ♥♥♥♥♥ and repeat.

That or in some cases simply go to a different height level, they don't chase you and let you run them through without fighting back. Has carried me to the second level no problem. It took me 5 hours to get in Volgarr where here I could get in 30 min, and my eye to hand coordination sucks almost as much as Stephen Hawking's.

The one at the top with the ghosts and the Skeleton mages? Kill the ghosts first and backpedal attracting the mobs to you so you can dispose of them safely before engaging him. Then RB til I run out of mana and it's like two or three hits after that, again attracting him far from the mage. Chop the mage's head off to recover some mana.

Thanks for this! I have found crouching is your friend - stay crouched and swing if you have something shooting at you and multiple enemies in front of the shooter. I have also found a suttle red line/streak appears through some enemies when they are close to death - maybe an indicator for a de-cap (button B attack?) Have not played a great deal yet - some very quick observations.

Ah I think I have the tactics now to kill the most enemys without taking damage.
Every enemy seems to have his own pattern just like in DarkSouls etc. and if you know them you can fight them rly good.
The different swords and axe are great too for killing some enemys faster.
For example: The Ice Axe kills the undead really good I think..or the Hellhounds.
The FireSword kills witches really fast and the normal sword is vs. slow enemys a good choice.

Ah apropo Axes and Swords.
You can switch between swords and axes on d-pad.
D-Pad Up = iron sword
D-Pad left = fire sword
D-Pad right = ice axe
D-Pad down = ? (havent unlocked it jet if there is another weapon)

D-Pad down is the Werewolf I think.

its old school saving! only by finishing a level, not per Checkpoint. Exit a level and you have to start it again!
The trouble with old school saving is that it requires old school quality control.
