The problem: I can't start Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. When I attempt to start the game, it won't even load the splash screen.

What I have tried: I have verfied all the files. I have tried
reinstalling. I have tried restarting Steam.

If I try to launch it directly from the game folder using ACS.exe, it will tell me that MSVCP110.dll and MSVCR110.dll are not found.

Hard Drive "E:" and not on the primary SSD "C:".
I already tried to create a new steam directory on "C:" and copy the ACS folder in there. But then the game won't even start.
Also "run as administrator
Hey Guys

I have a problem with starting the game. As soon as I get to the intro video the game crashes and an error message "ACS.exe doesn't work anymore" shows up.

Glad I'm not the only one with this issue... The more recent AC games seem to have a lot of issues, Unity kept crashing my computer, and now this one simply won't start. Great job Ubisoft!

Thanks. What happened is reinstall of video deiver, but your idea sounds

FlexibleMotionSimulationFPS=1 in AC.ini under [Options] section (initially [Options] section won't be present so either create it or wait till the game makes one once you fiddle with in-game settings)

multiple AC games that i play and launch perfectly fine. Ive done all the things the forum says to check that may interfere and nothing is working. Does anyone have an answer???
