Hi, apologies for the late response.
Please go to the Ubisoft Connect website in the link below and download the Ubisoft Connect launcher. If you currently have the Uplay launcher installed, then please uninstall that.
https://ubisoftconnect.com
Once you have installed Ubisoft Connect, launch the launcher and login with your account details then try launching the game.

You're welcome. I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the game and decided to get a refund.

Hi StampedParrot40,
I'm sorry to hear that the game is not launching despite having the Ubisoft Connect launcher installed rather than the Uplay launcher.
Could you take a look at the PC troubleshooting in the link below and go through any of the steps you may not have tried, then try again:
https://ubi.li/x17TX
However, if the issue persists I would recommend trying each of the following:
- Ensure your game is running on a dedicated GPU rather than an integrated GPU - https://ubi.li/q0hCX
- Clear Ubisoft Connect cache - https://ubi.li/uNKwr
- Add the game to the white list of your anti virus software
- Launch the game in Windows compatibility mode if you are using Windows 11 - https://ubi.li/h0VCZ
- Perform a SFC scan - https://ubi.li/gCxN0 (Win 10 & Below) https://ubi.li/OYBuj (Windows 10 & 11)
- Unplug non-essential peripherals (extra monitors, controllers, VR equipment, etc.)
- Reinstall the support software - https://ubi.li/s9Zj3
- Uninstall the game and Ubisoft Connect, then reinstall them on the same drive as your OS - https://ubi.li/cf8hs
If those steps do not help could you please confirm your PC specifications.

Apologies for the late response and sorry to hear that Assassin's Creed Syndicate is not launching on your PC.
If you have completed all the steps advised by Ubi-Keo above, and you still cannot launch the game, share with us the full specs of your PC, please.

(type WinVer in the Start menu and press Enter to check your Windows version and build)
Do you have any additional USB accessories plugged in?
Do you have more than one monitor?
Is the Ubisoft Connect and the game installed on the system C drive?
Please include the GPU driver version and date and the game's installation path.
Also your this is a problem that has recently become problematic for people trying to launch either unity/syndicate. Addressing the issues by saying the same things where you see people say "Actually we have done all these things and none of them are working" seems to be a server side issue but I could be wrong.
