Playing Politics Bug
I've reached a situation in the Playing Politics sequence where I have reached the stage Tackle the Spy. I manage to chase and tackle the spy but then he just stands there. I've searched a bit and found other people who have encountered the problem but no real solution has been found.
I've restarted the sequence from the beginning and also restarted the game as well. Still gets stuck after tackling the spy.
Is there a trigger that's supposed to kick in for the sniper to start shooting?

When the Spy is tackled you both get up and then... nothing happens. (Ignore the rest of the video after that)

I can confirm the following solution works. It is a comment on the video posted previously. I selected 2 cores (CPU 0 and CPU 1) rather than one because it was taking a very long time (30 minutes to load the mission).

Solution:
1. Run Assassin's Creed Syndicate
2. Start Task Manager
3. Go to details in Task Manager
4. Right Click on Assassin's Creed Syndicate
5. Go to 'Set Affinity'
6. Unselect All CPU's
7. Just Tick CPU 1 and then OK

The Game may Lag or Maybe Crash.
Do this when you Start the game and after entering the mission, Do this before the Tackling The Spy.... after that You can Set the Affinity to All CPU's. This Trick Works 100%.

Hello Baralier,

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to proceed.

Can you please verify your game files? This will help you to eliminate any potentially corrupted files that can lead to this issue.

If you're still experiencing this, can you please provide us with a short video of this occurring, so we can have a look?

Many thanks and if you have any additional questions, please let us know.

So are you offering any help or is this just an autoresponse bot?

Hey there.

Thanks for taking the time to share this workaround and I'm glad to hear in your case this helped you to progress past this particular mission, hopefully this will assist other players experiencing similar issues in future too and I've gone ahead and marked your post as the topic answer so it stands out if other players encounter this issue.

Thanks
