Sorry to hear you're having issues launching your game.
Mike I've replied to your separate thread with the Connect issue already, please be sure to check this when you find the time.
Please note that you should not be able to start the game through the Ubisoft Connect launcher itself, and only via Steam (even if the game appears in the Connect library).
To try and help with this issue, could you both please ensure that you try out the steps from the PC technical support article [www.ubisoft.com] to see if this helps at all?
Additionally, I'd recommend reinstalling the Ubisoft Connect launcher [www.ubisoft.com] and the game with admin rights [www.ubisoft.com].
Have you tried running the game in compatibility mode [www.ubisoft.com]? If not, I would also try that in case it helps.
If the issue continues thereafter, you will need to open a support ticket via email [www.ubisoft.com], and please attach a MsInfo and DxDiag
report here, so the support team can take a closer look.
(Feel free to mention all the troubleshooting steps you have already tried as well so that these aren't suggested to you again).

I had this same issue and it seems like the activation of the game doesn't trigger if you have ubisoft connect open already. So stupid. If you let the steam open ubisoft connect it'll register the game and then launch properly after that.

Unfortunately that doesn't work. I don't have Ubisoft Connect even open when try launching the game. It's just completely bugged and I've given up on trying to play it on my PC because I've followed every guide that I could find and nothing works and it's been too long to receive a refund so I just accept it as a loss.
