Aspect Ratio and Resolution Problem
I'm sure ya'll know this problem already. It's when AC Syndicate is zoomed in even on a native resolution. Changing the AC.ini file and changing the aspect ration doesn't do anything.

That's probably because you should try the in-game's options before going under the hood tampering with game files, particularly considering that this is relativelly recent game.

I've always done it from the AC: Syndicate graphic options panel and it worked just dandy upon my (somewhat today's shoddy resolution of) 1366*768 so far.

I actually tried to change the in-game options first before resorting to the AC.ini file. Through the in-game options, nothing really changes in terms to a fix. All it did was NOT fill the screen on "Fullscreen" after trying all the resolutions.

Hey there.

What is the default resolution of your monitor and what resolution are you trying to run the game at?

Hello and Thanks for responding. My monitor is 2560x1440 and after a fresh install of the game, it automatically detected my recommended settings which is ultra and native 2560x1440 resolution in fullscreen. As soon as I launched the game, it was already zoomed in. Changing the resolution, aspect ratio, or borderless windowed does not fix the issue. It just changes the size of the much the game is shown on my screen meaning the game can't fit the screen properly.

I'm having this problem too. I have a very normal resolution on my computer and the game autofits to a much larger ratio. I've played with the settings and cannot get it to fill my screen without being too big. I'm stuck playing on a ratio smaller than my screen just so I can see the whole game. It's extremely annoying. I've contacted customer support but they never got back to me.

Hey guys,

Sorry for the delay, thanks for getting back to us!

May we please know what the native resolution of your monitors are too?

And what you have the scale set to in your Windows Settings (if it's anything other than 100%)?

Thank you!

Hello! My native resolution is 2560x1440. I actually managed to get to stay at fullscreen by changing the window mode of in the AC.ini file and ticked the Read-only box. I don't know if it became borderless instead but whenever I tab out, the entire game completely freezes so i'll just guess that's how fullscreen works.
