5120x1440 Ultrawide 32:9 Solution for AC Syndicate

If you have a 49" Gaming monitor and wanted to play Syndicate, you might have noticed that the resolution is not supported. I found a work around.
In your "\Users\-user-\Documents\Assassin's Creed Syndicate" folder edit both of the following files and change the resolution manually.

AC.ini
DisplayWidth=5120
DisplayHeight=1440
RefreshRate=60
WindowMode=0

GFXSettings.ACS.xml
<GAMESETTINGS>
<RESOLUTION Width="5120" Height="1440" RefreshRate="60">

Note: It only works in windowed mode sadly. But a small price to pay to get this game working in full 32:9 glory.

would be great a compagny like ubi would add this as a native choice is all it need is a notpadd++ edit ! most indie games have more resolutions options than AAA :/

Thank you, just downloaded this game on uplay and used this to get my game to work with my 3840x1080 monitor. Setting the WindowMode=0 doesn't get me borderless though, its still windowed so not sure if I missed something there.

Strange, maybe there was an update but when starting the game auto detect applied the correct 5120x1440 and 120hz no problem. However it doesn't reflect in the menu (which shows lowest 4:3 res selected), although it can be seen in the .xml what it's actually using. Just a heads up for anyone else playing for the first time after Skull & Bones reminded them of how good Black Flag was and how they'd rather play that, but never played Syndicate so now is a good time
