AC sydicate crash on main title with Windows 11, for many users.

this game crash on windows 11, the only potential fix is to set the CPU affinity to real time, but its a workaround solution, same for AC unity.. plz ubisoft we need your help

RTX 4070 super (Driver 566.36)
32gb ram
windows 11 up to date

windows task manager, then click details, and right click on the game and set it to realtime. Game only ran well when it was the only application running by the way, but maybe just my PC. Having an internet browser open had a chance to crash the game.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for my poor english.

If it's can help people :
in the launch option steam : clic right on the game => général => at the bottom write command => -novideo
And after, launch the game.
Then for every connction without crash, for each connection, empty command launch on steam in général then re-write -novideo.
I test this exprience 3 times without crash. After launch the game and clic on A or "square"(ps5).
Also i test command : -safe in the launch of steam, but success just one time.

If it's work for you, do not hesitate to transmeat the information on other forum etc...

I don't test tihs under unity cause i crash a bit just at the end of the game and i don't test under AC liberty but after pass to version Windows 11 (Version 24H2) i lost my party (complete jhust 70 % of the game and deicided to stop)

ur not alone brother....but i'm using a workaround method to play currently...which is pretty easy....so here is what u do...

File explorer > C:\Users\Username\Documents\Assassin's Creed Syndicate\AC.ini

Open the AC.ini file using notepad and in there u will see "WindowMode" whose value is set 2 as default....change it to "0" or "1" which is borderless fuilscreen and windowed. Choose either of theme and replace it (for now) AND DONT FORGET TO SAVE THE FILE in order to work. dont worry it will reset once u shutdown ur computer, but u will have to repeat this process as long as u dont shut down ur computer...and now u can play it. after going through the click to start the screen...press Ctrl + Enter to go into fullscreen mode if u wish so to play in fullscreen mode.

You just need to start the game - press the Window button - start taskmanager - right click on ASC.exe - Properties and use the compatibility mode - change it to Windows 8. Close the taskmanager and return to your game.
