Why it is not for Mac?
It seems unfair that after Assassins Creed Brotherhood any of the following games of the series Assassin can not play from a Mac platform. Ubisoft miss a sector that will be able to play hooked for Mac at first and now we continue to relegate. I thought this would change with the new series.

Simple answer - It is extraordinarily difficult to make a business case for development of a Mac version of a game (I'm talking in the AAA space mostly). Mac has 7 percent of the Desktop market no game developer is going to look for an initial launch into that small a user base. Not when they can target the other 90 odd percent with a single product.

As a long-time Mac user, I have to unfortunately agree and say that the Mac platform just isn't significant enough to justify the expense for porting the game over to OS X.

In addition, the typical Mac cannot run the game at all (Only the top specced MacBook Pros with the discrete graphics card, the top 5K iMac, and the Mac Pro can feasibly run such a game).

Apple has also been behind on implementing OpenGL and typically has not been as active in supporting this as they should be.
