Sherlock Holmes?

Are we going to get to play as Sherlock Holmes or Watson? or is the story going to be unrlated.. yes I know Sherlock is from a fictional book but still who cares... history is 99% fabricated fiction anyway.

If we get a reference to Holmes it will most likely be of a young Holmes as the game is set in 1868 and according to the books Holmes birth year is 1854, which will make Holmes at the age of 14.

But I tell you this, I sure do hope we get an reference to Holmes and I will actually try and find his place of living, at older age, 221B Baker Street.

I don't think there's a precedent for playing AS an established character - whether fictional or historical - in Assassin's Creed. Doesn't mean Holmes won't be referenced or even cameo in a later DLC, however.

Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character so I doubt he would appear. However, Joseph Bell who inspired the creation of Sherlock Holmes might be there. or maybe the creator of Sherlock Holmes, Arthur Conan Doyle (probably see him in his younger days). But who knows, history might be fabricated as you have said.

History is fact, it's real things that really happened and the pursuit of the truth by seeking to understand the events of the past in order to try and stop the same things happening in the future.
