WARNING SHORT GAME

only 12 hours long , SHORTEST AC GAME ,60$ not worth it even though it has decent reviews.

To all of you people who record your hours and try to race to finish the game first and get 100% first: do you like put on adult diapers and bring in jugs of water and play for that long to beat it as fast as you can?

I dont know what this guy is talking about, i got the game for ps4 at october 23 and got it to 95% in game percetage and platinum trophy in 5 days, but i played between 10 to 14 hours/day, the game for console is great and very fun, this is the best ac since ac 2/brotherhood, and i enjoyed black flag and rogue, but this is a great game..

People can be so negative...it's disheartening. The guidebook is FILLED with side quests and collectables. That's what makes AC games unique as a series. I don't know where this 12 hours comes from...maybe if you just blaze through and don't take in the environment - which is exactly NOT the way to play the game.

So, go ahead. Spend your 12 hours in there and get out and move on. The forums and the franchise don't need that kind of participant.

I dont know whats new about it. I played AC3, and Black Flag under 12 hours if i simply stick to the main story. Rogue wasnt any much longer too.

You say AC Syndicate is 12 hours long. One would assume by that you mean the main story, because anyone with half a brain would know that the sidequests of AC Syndicate, or pretty much any of the other AC games would take way more than twelve hours to complete. You have 700 hours on Skyrim. Skyrim's campaign is only about 12 hours, depending on which path you choose (thief, mage, warrior, or a combo). According to your logic, it wouldn't be worth buying since its main story isn't long enough.

Syndicate is indeed very short. Was chatting with my buddy here at the office today about it as he has it on PS4. He's one of the folks who tries to complete every little aspect of the games, and usually AC games will take him 3-5 weeks to do. He's almost done and only on week 2 of sporadic play. He said it's 9 sequences, and like Unity there are only 2-3 missions per sequence, so if you're not heavily into doing the side missions, this will be a short one.

Very glad I am waiting for a steam sale.

your friend knows nothing, theres sequences with around 6 missions..and let me tell that the amount of sequences is just perfect for the game's story, when u finish the main story you'll feel that the game finished at a good point..and who buys an open world game for main quests only? if you are this kind of player u should not be buying open world games at all..

Glad to hear it's got more missions than Unity had per sequence - although he's certainly not the only one who's mentioned that it's a short game. I've seen a number of threads here on the Steam forums remarking on the shortness of the game by a number of folks.

I generally do the majority of the side missions, but I don't get much into the collectibles like animus fragments, etc.

all i have to say is that if u like assassins creed this is the best one since 2/brotherhood IMO, at least for ps4..dont know about pc port..

Well that's definitely encouraging. I loved AC2 & ACB - they were the best in the series IMO. No difference between the platforms other than PC has significantly better graphics options / framerates.

well, i enjoyed..only wish the game had more replay value cause i would really like to keep playing..
