Jack the Ripper content in main game?

Is the DLC incorporated in the main campaign? Or is this completely standalone like a seperate game? Are the fear skills applicable to the main game, can I do DLC missions alongside regular sidequests, etc? Just asking because I prefer DLC that enhances the open world experience rather than provide a different standalone experience. Thanks.

The Jack the Ripper DLC releases tomorrow, it will take place 20 years after the historical story. The other dlc such as the Darwin, Dickens, Train stories and Marx can be played during the regular historical story, some of the missions only show up after you progress with the story mission chapters but they can be found on your map if that's what you meant. But yes, they are part of the open world missions and not stand alone.

Thanks. That's a bummer about the Ripper content. The recent trend of making DLC for open world games standalone experiences is really unfortunate. Miss the good old days of real expansions like Balder's Gate. The recent Witcher DLC did a pretty good job of living alongside the existing game as well.

Oh I didn't mean the Ripper dlc won't be part of the game, I believe you will play as Evie to investigate the crimes of Jack the Ripper. I only meant that those events took place 20 years after the main story campaign. So Jack the Ripper won't be like Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China where it's stand alone content.
