Unable to purchase Helix credits
I am unable to purchase helix credits from the in-game e-store. When I click to purchase the pack that I want, the steam overlay opens with an error stating, "Something wrong happened. Please try again from the in-game menu." I have tried Ubisoft support (reference number 02606730) and their solution was to say that it was a problem with steam, hence why I am posting here. Does anybody have any idea how to solve this problem? I have already put in a ticket with steam support (which by the way, does not recognize assassin's creed syndicate as a game that steam sells) I am hoping to get a response from here instead of waiting weeks/months on steam support. Thanks in advance.

Just chiming in to say I too have the same problem and I've seen others with the same problem on Ubisoft's forum's I think as well. I have put in a ticket with Ubi and no response yet. The problem has to be with Ubisoft because all Steam is doing is opening a Ubisoft owned URL in the in-game web browser. Did not have any problems buying helix in Unity which is why I'm kinda pissed. One of the few things about Unity that wasn't broken lol.

I am having the exact same problem as per you stated ... basically like you had it, each time I attempt a purchase returns an error message.

I have also sent a support ticket on the Ubisoft, and hopefully more pple will report this issue with tickets ... so that Ubisoft will address this problem asap.

Yeah, I want that glitch scanner because even with maps I find online it can be a pain to determine which of the 25 or so glitches I missed.

If these steps did not help, I would contact Steam support, as there seems to be an error connecting to their store on your end.

It seems like theres something inhibiting your games connection to the Steam store. Currently there are no server errors or maintenance, so it is possibly an issue with your steam clients connection settings.
Please try the steps listed in the link below, to see if this resolves your issue.

Are you attempting to purchase the credits via Steam or in Game? I would suggest attempting to purchase the credits in game first, to see if this error continues.

I bought the game on steam and I am trying to purchase the helix credits from the in-game e-store, but when I choose any of the helix credit packs I get the following error displayed in the steam overlay: "Something Wrong happened. At least you got a response I guess. The funny thing is, Derek was completely wrong. That URL has nothing to do with Steam.

At least the Social Glitches give ten credits each, only 100 till I can get that scanner lol.

Same issue here. That link points to a UBI hosted site. They haven't responded to my ticket either

Ugh, two steps forward one step back Ubi. You almost did good! There are two boroughs that have one glitch remaining and it is such a freaking pain to walk up and down the damn streets till I find this damned glitch!

Thank you for this information. Too bad there isn't a place Ubisoft could have placed this info. Like maybe a place where questions are asked, frequently.
