The clock tower itself is presently named the Elizabeth Tower, but it got that name in 2012. In 1868, it would have been called simply "the clock tower" as it was part of the Palace of Westminster.

Actually Big Ben is the name of the biggest bell in the tower, not the clock itself. So Big Ben ISN'T the clock :)
