PC vs. PS4
I'm currently around 3 hours into the game on PS4 but was thinking about restarting on PC. How much better is it on pc? I've read about how people are having problems with running it and whatnot on PC but was wondering how I would be able to run it. Thanks!

My specs:

CPU: I7-4790k
GPU: GTX 980TI
RAM: 32GB

with those spec's, it will run allot better vs Ps4 version. but may i ask why you bought it for both systems in the first place???

I bought it on PS4 at launch but just never had the time. I like what I played of it but now with the PC version out, I was thinking about getting it as I can sell my PS4 copy to a friend.

Is this legit?

You should be able to completely MAX this game on PC. Max it to the MAX! MAX! MAD ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MAX THIS GAME TO THE MAX!

Push it, to the limit. Push it, push it, push it, push it. MAX IT OUT.

But unfortunately that would mean enabling GameWorks features, and GW is garbage, it;s a cancer... so, HBAO+ and everything else as high as possible, minus TXAA and PCSS or whatever.

In all honesty you should max this game, max it to the max, but that's just not how AAA works these days. Regardless, you'll get a better looking AC at 60FPS.

I have the same specs, like exactly the same specs and can tell you if you put everything on Ultra the game will look spectacular but you will get around 45-60 fps
Ebo Nov 20, 2015 @ 3:10pm
You can play at 60 fps, better draw distance, better resolution, sharper overall look, better controls (because of the higher fps), so yeah, I'm thinking you should get the PC version with that kind of system.

In my opinion after about 6 hours of playing it's one of the best AC games released so far, if not the best. It's worth playing the best version and that's on the PC (honestly every single AC game has been the best on PC, even Unity, at least on PC it wasn't running at 15-20 fps).

Turn down the Nvidia shadows thing and drop down to HBAO+, that should get you in the 60-90s if you're at 1080 with little to no impact on the visuals.

Unity was an abomination on PS4. Syndicate actually performs better, and manages to stay at 30FPS this time.

But what good is using them as examples when MGSV achieves 1080p 60FPS on PS4, or (And I know this isn't out yet) Uncharted 4, which looks better than Syndicate in both graphics and visuals, achieves 60FPS.

Some studios just know how to console more than others, and same goes to PC, 4A GAMES, CDPR, croteam, DICE, etc..

I bought it today, downloaded it, tested it for 2 hours, and found that the performance wasn't to my liking yet (i7 4770k, GTX 980, 16GB RAM) so I refunded it.

The game itself seemed nice, so if they fix the performance issues I might buy it permanently (God I love the refunding option on Steam!)

Well MGS V was night and day between consoles and PC, let's just say Konami took a few shortcuts to get that to run at 60 fps.

Uncharted 4, at least the single player, no way that will run at 60 fps, at least not a steady 60. As far as I know they are aiming for 60, but they won't fix the framerate, so it will probably be similar to God of War 3, where it would go between 30 to 60, depending on what was on screen.

Also Uncharted 4 is on a single platform, you'd be amazed what a big difference that makes. Lastly on a technical level Anvil Next has to do a lot more heavylifting that Uncharted 4's engine, so the fact they got Syndicate to run at 30 fps on PS4 without comprommising the visuals, well that's downright a miracle.

While Uncharted 4 might look pretier on a scene by scene case, Syndicate is a lot more impressive technically with a lot more happening at any point under the hood.

30fps on console feels smooth, 30fps on pc feels trash (all games in general, i havent played syndicate)

Uncharted 4 single player will be 1080p 30fps. Multiplayer will be 900p 60fps.

try find a ps4 resolution that works with 7680x4320 that answers your question friend i tested it today with the new Gameready Driver from Nvidia and it looks baffling good! But eats tremendously your graphic card! im using a 4k samsung monitor with 2 titan xs and barely can use it fluidly in that resolution. it needs oprimisation for sure but is the right way to go in realism.
