I think the point here is that so clear is the conclusion that Ubisoft SUXX that Gamespot's review is not to be trusted.

Remember, after all, Gamespot is the big reviewer that was caught taking bribes from publishers to boost scores, so maybe you don't have to be an AC fanboy to exercise some skepticism.

Pretty much that. Jump down the building, stab/punch everyone around, meet a buncha historical figures cutscene and kill the villain with terrible characters. Summarized entire game here.
