Note the boundaries on the map as some of the areas on the docks and such are still considered the Thames. Level Jacobs eagle vision to level 3 and wear the upgraded Sherlock Holmes outfit if you have it because it will give you 20% more range.
Alternatively you could just buy the map that unlocks all the helix glitches, if you feel like paying to have the game played for you (or don't have the time to look).
Does the ingame maps from the merchant on my ship count or are you referring to strictly the real money maps?
From the merchant on your ship? I don't understand what you mean by that.
If your talking about the in game shops then I think they only sell the chests, bottles, and pressed flower maps for in game currency (which show up after syncing viewpoints). Helix glitches, Royal letters and Music boxes maps can be bought from the Uplay store with real money if you want to buy them as a time saver. But it's definately possible to get all collectables in game without buying the extra maps, as I have done this personally by using eagle vision.
Every time I see a community helix I go after it for the iap currency reward but I'll do the eagle vision, see how it pans out. tymuch.
No problem. Good luck!
